If these CERPs are being submitted to the IBLCE in order to qualify for the exam, the completed unit(s) must be received by LEC no later than four weeks prior to submitting your application to the IBLCE for the exam in order to receive your certificate in a timely fashion. If using these CERPs to recertify, the completed unit(s) must be received by LEC no later than four weeks prior to submitting your application for recertification.

Please allow a minimum of four weeks for grading and processing each unit.

Reading and Responses

Read Counseling the Nursing Mother, 5th Edition, by J. Lauwers and A. Swisher, published by Jones & Bartlett, 2011. Answer 32 questions in their entirety and submit to instructor. You can use the 2005 edition if you are unable to obtain the 2011 edition, however, you may not use any edition earlier than 2005.
