Advanced Clinical Concepts in Lactation Course (ACCLC)
Class times: 8:00-4:30 each day
28 L CERPs, 2 E CERPs (21 hours classroom, 9 hours home study) available
This three day course explores in depth a few of the topics you need and want to know more about! THIS is the interactive program you’ve been looking for, with discussion, group work, scenarios and case studies, and a hands-on skills lab working with pumps, alternative feeding methods and other gadgets. Topics include recent breastfeeding initiatives, working with millennial moms, biological nurturing, obesity, feeding toddlers, differential lactation diagnosis and treatment of sore nipples and failure to thrive, what moms really want, ethical issues, and much more.
NOTE: The 2013 class has not changed substantively from the 2012 class, so if you took the 2012 class, there is no need to attend again unless you want or need to reinforce the concepts.
Pre-requisite: LEC Certified Lactation Specialist Course or other primary lactation management course.

| IMPORTANT NOTE: Refunds are given upon receipt of written notice up to 14 days prior to the first day of the program, less a $50 processing fee. You may transfer your remaining credit (less the $50) to a future Certified Lactation Specialist Course scheduled within the next year if you so desire. We are unable to refund tuition within 14 days or for "no shows." LEC reserves the right to cancel any program if there are fewer than 22 registrants four weeks prior to the start of the program. In that case, all tuition will be refunded with no processing fee. |
