 LEC Resources: Books
Aspiring lactation consultants often want to know which books they should have in their library for reference and study purposes. LEC has compiled a variety of excellent books here, all of which may be obtained through Hale Publishing (which has many more than this). The three primary textbooks used for study are Counseling the Nursing Mother, Breastfeeding and Human Lactation, and Breastfeeding: A Guide for the Medical Profession. Any of the following books would be a great addition to your library -- either now or in the future.
