A comprehensive program to provide information on the best lactation practices based on the current research. Three instructors will bring humor, skits, videos, discussion and lectures with Powerpoint to your facility for three days of evidenced based breastfeeding education. Topics include assessing a latch, physiology of milk production, teaching breastfeeding classes, promotion of breastfeeding, milk supply issues, normal breastfeeding, composition of human milk, medication concerns, breastfeeding challenges, counseling skills, taking a history and documentation, to name a few!
